About Roam & Rover

Our Story

Roam & Rover started with a simple problem: most dog walks don't happen in perfect daylight. They happen before sunrise, after work, in the rain, along streets without sidewalks. And most leashes on the market aren't built for any of it.

We're a Vancouver-based company founded to make those walks safer — for the dogs who need them and the people who love them. Our first product, a high-visibility reflective leash, was designed for one reason: to make sure your dog is seen by a driver, a cyclist, or anyone else sharing the road, long before it matters.

Why We Started

Dogs don't get to choose when they walk. They get the hours their owners can give them — and for most of us, that means early mornings, late evenings, and a lot of time in low light. We didn't think safety should be a luxury feature or an upgrade. It should be built in.

Roam & Rover exists so dog owners can give their pets the full life they deserve — long walks, late walks, early walks, dark walks — without the worry that comes with poor visibility.

What's Next

The reflective leash is just the start. We're building a full line of products designed around the same idea: making the lives of pets and pet owners safer, simpler, and better — in the moments most brands overlook.
